We are a church on mission - called to unite Wayne County and beyond with the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
This is more than a gathering; it’s a movement. Our passion is to create a place where people encounter the reality, treasure, and the unstoppable joy of Jesus Christ indwelling their body. As a non-denominational, Bible-saturated community, we exist to reveal that you are fully seen and fully loved by your Creator, to awaken purpose, ignite faith, and remind every person of their true value and worth in the eyes of the God who created them.

We are a community committed to exploring that journey alongside you, offering a safe resting place for your doubts and a supportive hand through your struggles. Awakening a Generation to the God Who Dwells Within
In a day and age where social media tries to scratch the itch of being seen and known, and with a hollow imitation of connection, we are left with a profound epidemic of loneliness.
We believe the cure for this loneliness isn't found in a social media algorithm or feed, but in the radical and scandalous reality of the availability of Jesus dwelling within you. He is not the "man upstairs"; He is the One True God who desires to make His home in you now (John 14:23).
It’s time to trade the world's shallow substitutes that will never satisfy the deep hunger for truth burning inside this generation. Come find out about the indwelling treasure & truth you have been longing to connect with (John 14:20).
With a culturally confusing Christianity, along with generations of people being discipled by social media algorithms, its no surprise why people are grieving and groaning about “What is true anymore?” and "what is true reality" and "Does anything have meaning anymore"? —
This generation is hungry for true reality, the removal of hype and performance, and a demand for substance and presence. An actual unique substance and presence superior to what the world offers, an actual treasure of life, knowledge, and truth. The Church of The Indwelling is passionate about having found this treasure, truth, and reality, and desires to make it available to you - the real life and constant indwelling presence of the living God. We are shifting the focus from passive "religious activity" to the "Indwelling Reality" and boldly claiming for those who believe in Him, He is with you now. You are never alone.
At the heart of the stunning good news invitation Jesus came announcing was this: the availability of another kind of life — a life more real, more alive, and one that can dwell inside to empower you. The Indwelling exists to proclaim the immersed reality of union with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit with joy and clarity.
We are here to revive the message Jesus Himself preached — “the kingdom of God is at hand” (Matthew 4:17).
We are here to reveal the mystery Paul thundered to the nations — "Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27).
We long to see people awakened to new life, reshaped in character, connected in deep community, and making Jesus visible through their bodies (2 Corinthians 4:11; Philippians 1:20).
This is not just another idea, hobby, or another polished version of church. This is a movement of God who desires to awaken His people to the reality of the God who dwells within — and carry His presence into the world.

HOW TO LIVE AGAIN
Many are familiar with how to be saved and receive new life from God, but many fail to receive insight about the reality of this new life we have been given, and how to live this new life minute by minute in the fellowship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Knowing the serious pursuit of joy in God and life-altering reality of surrendering your kingdom to God’s kingdom, we have put in place various teaching courses to help you learn how to live again "with God" as you transition into each phase of this new life and increase your understanding and joy along the way.
This new spiritual journey can be confusing and we have also created a grace - filled safety net to catch you when you stumble and care for your wounds when Great Physician prunes with surgical grace. Our desire is to guide you with counsel, and give you fresh hope.
Feel free to get plugged in to a class or group and learn how to put into practice the teachings of Jesus to experience the life-giving character transformation that He promised.
